We greatly enjoyed the place and its fresh made and vegan breakfast.

The room was huge, cheap and had coffee and tea making facilities, multi-channel television, and a writing desk.

This was a great stay for Cadbury visit. The location was stunning, close to Birmingham, the cafe below the property and Bournville. It also was to several restaurants etc the other side of the station.

The room felt very dated and the bathroom was cold.

I stayed for 1 night in a Beautiful Double Room. The breakfast was awesome with delicious pancakes and bacon for just £8. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom felt clean and recently refurbished. A great spot for Cadbury World lovers 🍴

Charming historical experience

I loved the homely atmosphere and the cozy cafe below with a good breakfast. The care in decoration added a special touch to my stay.

Accessing the room was a bit cumbersome due to the keypad entry and tricky stairwell, which might be challenging for those with heavy luggage.

Plenty of character in the decor with a cozy setting that invites relaxation. The breakfast brought a decent meal for the price, though I'd suggest eating early to avoid wait times.

Stains on light-colored carpet detracted from the overall cleanliness. A steep staircase posed accessibility issues, and the room felt cramped with old linens and notable wear, which wasn't what I expected from the photos. It's also inconvenient that WiFi is only available in the cafe, forcing anyone needing it to get up, especially if working late.

Spacious room felt more like a suite, upgraded with thoughtful touches such as a fridge and quality coffee options. The shower was excellent with its walk-in design. While the location near public transport is fantastic, a few minor improvements could enhance the experience, such as providing snack bags for early departures and more information about the historic building. Having businesses operating below the rooms also adds charm.

The hotel is just a short walk from both cadbury world and the beautiful kings heath park.

The well-stocked hospitality trays in the Beautiful Double Room provided a nice touch, with a range of quality tea and coffee options. The self check-in convenience was a relief, especially after a long haul-access codes were sent via text, made late-night entry hassle-free.

Navigating the steep, narrow stairs to the room could be a chore, especially with heavy luggage. Guests should be aware that Wi-Fi connectivity is subpar in certain rooms, particularly in the top-floor areas where it felt non-existent. The condition of the kitchenette on the upper level felt a bit neglected. The absence of in-room amenities like hairdryers and the noise disturbances from traffic and nearby rooms detract from the experience. The breakfast options were limited on Sundays, as the cafe was closed, leaving guests without a convenient morning meal.

The room had good tea and coffee facilities, and the nearby outdoor dining area was good (perfect for enjoying the fresh air). Friendly staff.

Parking was quite challenging, especially during busy times.

It was just a fine choice for a quick layover in Birmingham with great value for the money. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the outdoor dining area was a nice spot to relax. Try to grab breakfast early to avoid any delays.

Really enjoyed my superb stay for the Cadbury visit. The room was a good size with all the amenities I needed like proper coffee and a fridge.- The staff was pleasant throughout my stay.- The hotel is located in a central area near the cafe, Bournville train station, and shops.

The location was amazing, within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go. We didn't have time for the vegetarian breakfast.

The breakfast was freshly made with a tasty Spanish omelette. The accommodation has a central setting close to main arteries. It's only 1 km from popular places like Cadbury World.
